The quality of our fabric begins with researching and selecting the finest natural raw materials. We carefully select premium cottons and blends, BCI and Cotton USA, organic and recycled, establishing partnerships with growers and spinners, with particular attention to sustainability and traceability.
After selecting the raw materials, we transform fibre into yarn through spinning, with continuous quality control and ongoing research into new yarns and blends, across counts from Ne 06/1 to 100/1.
Dyeing takes place under continuous control over the process and the dyed yarns, so the result is consistent with our quality standards, shade after shade. State-of-the-art machinery delivers excellent results with significant savings in energy and water.
Weaving transforms yarn into fabric, interlacing weft and warp on advanced air-jet looms from Toyota and Picanol, with precision warping and sizing on Benninger equipment. This phase is the sum of raw-material quality, the creativity of the design and our weavers’ experience.
A crucial phase, finishing gives the fabric its appearance, hand and performance, mercerizing, sanforizing, peach and sueding, water-repellent, easy-care and more. Finished in our own plants, so we can deliver a service customised to each requirement.
The final controls consist of strict physical and chemical tests that ensure the maximum quality of the finished fabric. Every metre is also visually inspected to the Four-Point American System, the international benchmark for fabric grading.
